We use the DJI Osmo Pocket and Pocket 2, small handheld cameras with a built-in gimbal, which keeps footage smooth and stable even when guests are moving or dancing.

They shoot in 4K, so your videos look beautiful on a TV or laptop, and they perform well in low light too. Operation couldn't be simpler: switch on, press record. There are no settings to fiddle with and nothing to get wrong, which is why they work so well in the hands of guests who've never picked up a video camera before.

It depends on the size and shape of your day. As a rough guide:

2 cameras — small or single-venue weddings, intimate gatherings (under 60 guests)

3 cameras — most weddings; ideal for capturing prep, ceremony, and reception with multiple angles

4 cameras — larger weddings, or if you'd like a guest filming each main moment simultaneously

Our cameras record sound on their own. This is a a small audio recorder that captures clear, high quality audio of the ceremony and speeches. Camera microphones alone are sometimes too far away or pick up room noise. It's easy to set up (press record, place near the front), and we sync it to the video during editing.

It varies - and that's a good thing. The length of your film depends on how much your guests capture and the natural rhythm of your day. A small ceremony with a relaxed reception might be shorter, a big wedding with lots of events and lots of cameras might be longer.

What's consistent is the care: every film is professionally edited from your guests' footage, paced like a proper edited film rather than a long playout, and set to music you choose — usually two or three songs that take you through the different parts of the day.

In our experience, the right length is the one the footage gives us. We won't pad it out to hit a number, and we won't cut moments just to make it shorter. The result is always a film that feels complete — the best bits of your day, beautifully edited, ready to watch back together.

We have edited films of up to 20 minutes because there was so much footage, but most of our wedding films end up being between 7-12 minutes and are edited across two or three songs.

Your Ceremony and Speeches will all be in your original footage download (if they were filmed), but if you want a ceremony edit or a speeches edit, they can be ordered after the wedding - no need to decide now.

Once your wedding film is in progress, we'll email you asking if you want the reel (it's a small section of your film) and ask for your Instagram handle and your suppliers (venue, florist, photographer, anyone you'd like tagged).

We post it to our Instagram and add you as a collaborator, so it appears on your account too with all your suppliers tagged.

It's part of your package but totally optional and but always on your terms.
