1. DECIDING (THE BASICS)

  • You order your package online. Three days before the wedding, we send you 2–4 stabilised 4K cameras along with simple tips for your guests. Hand them out on the day so your friends and family can film everything — from the morning prep through to the dancing.

Once you've recovered, post the kit back. We'll edit your wedding film, set to music you choose, and while you wait, we'll offer to make you a free Instagram reel too. You'll also get a download link with all the original footage — every clip your guests captured, yours to keep.

It's the most personal kind of wedding film — made by the people who know you best.

  • We use the DJI Osmo Pocket and Pocket 2 — small handheld cameras with a built-in gimbal, which keeps footage smooth and stable even when guests are moving or dancing. They shoot in 4K, so your videos look beautiful on a TV or laptop, and they perform well in low light too. Operation couldn't be simpler: switch on, press record. There are no settings to fiddle with and nothing to get wrong, which is why they work so well in the hands of guests who've never picked up a video camera before.

  • A videographer's price mostly reflects the shoot day — a full day on-site, often with a second shooter, then days of editing. We skip the shoot day because your guests are already there, capturing moments no outside videographer could ever reach. So yes, we're much cheaper — but more importantly, the film you get is different, and we think better. More personal, more intimate, made by the people who actually know you.

  • It varies, and that's the point. We edit to the natural rhythm of your day rather than padding to a minimum or cutting to a limit - a relaxed elopement might be shorter, a big day with lots of cameras longer.

Most films land around 7–12 minutes, occasionally up to 20 minutes, we use 2-3 songs. Every one is professionally edited and set to music you choose, paced like a proper film rather than a long playout. And you keep all the original footage, so the full moments are always yours.

  • It depends on the size and shape of your day. As a rough guide:

    • 2 cameras — small or single-venue weddings, intimate gatherings (under 60 guests)
    • 3 cameras — most weddings; ideal for capturing prep, ceremony, and reception with multiple angles
    • 4 cameras — larger weddings, or if you'd like a guest filming each main moment simultaneously

If you're unsure, drop us a quick message with your guest count and venue setup and we'll recommend the right package for your day.

  • Once your wedding film is in progress, we'll email you asking if you want the reel (it's a small section of your film) and ask for your Instagram handle and your suppliers (venue, florist, photographer, anyone you'd like tagged).

We post it to our Instagram and add you as a collaborator, so it appears on your account too with all your suppliers tagged.

It's part of your package but totally optional.

2. Booking (cost, payment, refunds)

  • Both options are available. You can pay in full at booking, or secure your date with a 30% deposit. If you choose the deposit, the remaining balance is taken automatically 3 weeks before your wedding — no action needed from you.

  • Our refund policy depends on whether you paid in full or with a deposit, and how close to the wedding you cancel.

    If you paid in full:

More than 6 months before your wedding= 100% refund

    3–6 months before = 70% refund

Less than 3 weeks before = no refund

If you paid a 30% deposit:

More than 6 months before = fully refundable

    Within 6 months = non-refundable

If you need to postpone rather than cancel, please see the next question — we're very flexible there.

  • No problem at all — we're completely flexible on dates. Just get in touch as soon as you know, and we'll move your booking to the new date at no extra cost. We've handled hundreds of postponements over the years; we know how stressful wedding admin can get and we'll make this part easy.

  • Yes of course - happy to send them wherever works best or we can dispacth a few days earlier than the standard "3 days prior to wedding". Just pop a note in the "notes" section of the cart slide out or put your venue address in as the shipping address directly at checkout.

3. PRE WEDDING LOGISTICS

  • Your kit arrives 3–4 days before your wedding via DPD, with full tracking sent to you. The buffer gives you time to test everything calmly and lets us send a replacement out if anything's off.

  • Yes — they arrive fully charged, formatted, and ready to record. The kit includes a USB charging cable that works with any standard USB plug or power bank. Charging instructions are in the Tips & Tricks cards we send along.

  • We send your kit 3–4 days early specifically so you can check everything works. As soon as the cameras arrive, give each one a quick test recording. If anything seems off, message us straight away and we'll dispatch a replacement to reach you before the wedding.

4. ON THE DAY

  • Each camera comes with a USB charging cable, and you can plug them into any standard USB charger or power bank. Battery life depends on use, but couples typically top them up during dinner — that's plenty for the rest of the evening.

  • Each camera comes with a 128GB SD card, which holds 2.5–3 hours of 4K footage — far more than you'll ever need on the day.

  • Yes, every camera records its own audio, and we'll always include some highlights from the ceremony & speeches in your film as long as they've been captured. We recommend keeping at least one camera close to the action during these moments.

For pristine ceremony and speech audio — particularly important for outdoor ceremonies, where wind and distance can make camera audio less than ideal our sound recorder is now included as standard. It's a small device that sits unobtrusively near the speaker and captures crystal-clear sound. We then sync that audio with the video.

  • We don't include tripods because the cameras are stabilised. Some people find them useful for the ceremony & speeches. If you'd like to get one, then just message us for links to an adaptor and affordable tripod that will work well

  • It's genuinely rare — the DJI Pocket cameras are tiny, robust, and your guests look after them well. In the unlikely event one is lost or damaged beyond repair, the replacement cost is £200, which keeps our packages affordable for everyone. We don't take a security deposit upfront; we only invoice for replacement if something actually happens.

5. POST WEDDING

  • Within a few working days of your wedding, in the original packaging. The return address is included on a note in the box. If you want this to be any different, just send us an email before you book - we're pretty flexible.

  • Most films are delivered within 4 weeks of receiving your footage. During peak wedding season this can extend up to 6 weeks at the maximum, though it's usually much sooner. If you need it faster, our Express Editing service delivers your videos within 1 weeks of footage arriving with us. You can order this after the wedding, we'll send you an email about it.

  • Most of our couples are delighted with their film first time. If we've made a genuine error, we'll fix it — no question. If you'd like creative changes beyond that (a different track, a different scene order, more or less of something), we're happy to make adjustments for a small additional fee. Just get in touch and we'll talk it through.

6. DELIVERY (FORMATS & ACCESS)

  • Once your video is ready, we'll send you a Dropbox link to download it, along with the original footage. They're delivered as high-quality MP4 files that you can keep, share, and back up yourself. The Dropbox link stays active for 6 months (see footage retention below), but we recommend downloading and backing up your files as soon as you receive them. The Instagram reel will be posted, tagging you as a collaborator. This is optional and you will get a specific email asking if you want this or not nearer the time.

  • We send you a download link of all of your footage along with your edited film, so you'll be able to watch every clip. This is now included with every booking.

  • Yes — we deliver your films as standard MP4 files, which play on virtually anything: smart TVs (via USB stick or Chromecast), laptops, phones, tablets, and most older devices.

  • Yes — we'll send you a music request page where you can tell us which tracks you'd like. You can also include song requests on the form we put inside the camera box if you prefer. There's no need to decide before the wedding; choose your music afterwards!

  • Your files are safely stored on our servers for a full year after delivery, so if you ever lose your downloads, just email us and we'll send a fresh Dropbox link. We strongly recommend downloading and backing up your videos as soon as you receive them. The dropbox links last for six months.

  • Yes — we're a popular choice for destination weddings. Our Destination Wedding package includes everything you need (cameras, action camera, sound recorder, travel pouch) and is designed for couples flying with the kit. The waterproof action camera is also ideal for poolside or beach footage.

  • We don't ship cameras internationally — Brexit and customs charges make it slow and expensive — but you can absolutely take them abroad. The standard route is to have the kit delivered to your UK address, fly with it (the cameras are tiny and travel easily), and post it back when you return. Our Destination Wedding package is built specifically for this.
