One week, included in every package. The hire starts the day before your wedding (or departure date for destination) and the cameras arrive with you ahead of that, so there's time to charge them up and have a play before the day.

You post everything back once the wedding is over. We'll email you the return date, so it's not something you need to remember on your honeymoon.

If a week isn't enough, you can add more when you order:

• 10 days (+£75) — getting married abroad, or a weekend of events either side
• 2 weeks (+£175) — a longer trip away, or taking the cameras on honeymoon

Yes, the cameras have one button to switch on and one to record. We send Tips & Tricks cards to give to your "filming friends" so they know what to shoot. We've done this 3000+ times; it works. If someone can use a phone, they can use these.

Two works for intimate weddings (under 60 guests, one venue). Three is right for most. Four if you're over 120 guests or moving between locations. We'd rather you had one too many than one too few.

Long enough to tell the story of your day, and tight enough that you'll actually rewatch it. Most land around 8–12 minutes (2-3 songs), though we've edited films up to 20 minutes when the day calls for it. We don't pad to a minimum or cut to a limit; we edit to what works. And because you keep all the original footage too, nothing's ever lost.

Yes. We send a dedicated sound recorder that sits near the people speaking and captures crystal-clear audio. We sync it to the camera footage in the edit.

Your wedding film will be made up of all the best parts of your day, set to music you choose (usually 2-3 songs), plus a download of all the original footage to keep forever. Editing takes around 4 weeks after we receive everything back and you'll be offered your "reel while you wait" sooner than that. We also have an express service. We'll be in touch every step of the way.

The film you get back is the same either way. Same editors, same edit, same turnaround. What changes is the kit we send you.

The standard package contains DJI Pocket 1&2 cameras and a sound recorder you place near the ceremony. It's the kit we've been sending for years and it produces lovely films.

The PLUS package contains the latest cameras, the DJI Pocket 3 & 4's, along with wireless mics. The Pocket 3 & 4 has a much larger sensor, so it holds up far better once the light drops - evening receptions, candlelit dinners, first dances. And the wireless mics clip discreetly to your officiant or whoever is speaking, so your vows and speeches come through clearly rather than from across the room.

The new cameras also have a rotating screen that allows a much clearer and larger view of what is being filmed.

We give you everything you need - 4K cameras, sound recorder, easy tips for your guests. The big saving is in not having a film crew on-site all day. Your guests capture the real moments, our editors turn it into something beautiful, and we pass the saving straight on to you.
